Phase 1: Auditorium Lighting Modernization

The Problem:

The auditorium's existing lighting system had become increasingly difficult to maintain and operate. Staff regularly dealt with flickering fixtures and frequent lamp failures that disrupted the usability of the space and increased their maintenance costs.

The system is comprised of a mix of older incandescent fixtures and newer LED fixtures and the original dimming system had begun to deteriorate to the point of failure. This was causing inconsistent performance, shortened lamp life, and contributed to ongoing power and dimming issues throughout the auditorium.

The Solution:

Pierson focused on modernizing the auditorium's house and stage lighting infrastructure by replacing the dimming system to meet the auditoriums current dimming and relay requirements and implementing a more intuitive lighting control solution. The result is brighter, more consistent lighting, improved energy efficiency, reduced maintenance, and a system that's significantly easier for staff to operate.

"When we approached Pierson for this project, we had specific technical requirements and a tight timeline. When presented with these challenges, Pierson not only met our needs but exceeded our expectations. They delivered the project on time, ensuring that none of our operations were disrupted. Pierson excels in both technical expertise and customer service."
