Standard device service includes:
 

Unbox & Inspect for Damages

Each device is carefully unboxed and inspected for visible physical damage or manufacturer defects. Devices that fail inspection are flagged and documented for prompt resolution before reaching your end users.

 

Custom Pierson or Customer Asset Tag Application

Asset tags—either provided by Pierson or supplied by the customer—are affixed to each device. Each tag is scanned and logged, ensuring accurate inventory management and easy identification in the field.

 

Greenpack (Up to 12 Devices to a Box)

Devices are securely packed using Pierson’s Greenpack method, grouping up to 12 units per box in a protective, eco-friendly format. Packaging is designed for easy distribution by classroom, grade, or location.

 

DOA Coordination & Replacement

Any devices found to be dead on arrival (DOA) are documented and managed directly with the manufacturer. Pierson coordinates the return and replacement process, so you don’t have to.

 

Liftgate Delivery

Final delivery is made with liftgate service to accommodate locations without loading docks. This ensures safe, ground-level unloading for schools, offices, or remote facilities.

 

Spreadsheet with All SN/Asset & Box Number by LocationA detailed spreadsheet is provided with each deployment, listing all serial numbers, asset tag numbers, box numbers, and corresponding delivery locations—enabling easy tracking, inventory verification, and recordkeeping.

  • Admin Console Enrollment
    Chromebooks are enrolled into your organization's Google Admin Console, ensuring centralized management, policy enforcement, and seamless integration with your existing infrastructure.

    OU Assignment
    Devices are placed into the correct Organizational Unit (OU) within your Admin Console based on your district or organization’s structure, applying the right policies and settings automatically.

  • Scripting and Customer Software Install
    We create and execute custom scripts to automate the installation of required software, configurations, and system settings across all devices. Whether deploying proprietary applications or standard productivity tools, our process ensures consistency, efficiency, and compliance with your organization’s specifications.

    Autopilot and Intune
    Devices are pre-configured for seamless setup using Microsoft Autopilot and enrolled into Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM). This allows centralized deployment of policies, apps, and user settings—reducing hands-on IT time and ensuring a secure, scalable rollout.

    App Loading
    Required applications are preloaded onto each device based on customer specifications. Whether it’s educational platforms, productivity tools, or communication apps, we ensure all software is installed, tested, and ready for use before delivery.

  • MDM Enrollment (Apple/Android)
    Each device is enrolled into your organization’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) system—such as Apple Business Manager or Android Zero-Touch—allowing for centralized control of policies, security settings, and remote management.
